Alison Fleming

Ali has lived in Leith for 11 years and began working with Earth in Common in June 2019 as Café & Shop Co-ordinator. During 2020 she also led our Covid-19 food response effort.

Ali has a degree in Psychology and Sociology and has worked with vulnerable people and food systems in Scotland, Australia, and Vietnam. She is from a small village on the east coast where community is important. She has carried this to Leith and is excited to be a part of developing EiC’s community. She cares about protecting: biodiversity, green spaces in urban environments, waste production in liner economies, and access to good food for everyone.
